St. Malachy's College Old Boys' Association

College Centenary: 1933

The highlight of the pre-war period for the Association was the occasion of the Centenary Celebrations in 1933.  On the feast of St. Malachy in that year, three hundred Old Boys were guests of the College at dinner, at which Dr. MacRory, the Archbishop of Armagh was the principal guest and Monsignor A.H. Ryan was the principal speaker.  Some days later the Association held a special centenary Dinner at the Royal Avenue Hotel.
